About

I am a writer and curator from Puerto Rico. I hold a B.A. in Art History from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, with an emphasis on Latin America and the Caribbean. I am currently a master’s student at the University of Texas at Austin, where I am part of the Center for Latin American Visual Studies. My research focuses on contemporary art from the insular Caribbean and its diaspora, with a particular interest in the materiality and dematerialization of the art object.
